Kristen & Shane | Winter Styled Shoot at Historic White Oak Farm 

For a while, I've had the idea of doing a winter styled shoot at a venue that had lots of landscapes to work with. I knew I wanted pine trees and lakes. A boat to go out onto the water is an added bonus! I immediately thought of the Historic White Oak Farm in Morrow, Ohio. Kristen, the owner and event coordinator was gracious enough to let me use her gorgeous property and photograph Kristen and Shane’s love. Lots of times in my opinion, styled shoots can seem more of a fashion oriented shoot with posing a real couple wouldn’t normally do on a wedding day. I wanted my styled shoot to feel like a real wedding and not anything that was staged. With these two, everything was so natural. Kristen and Shane’s love flowed out through the images I took. My favorite images I got from the day are some of the ones I got out on the boat. Everything was so quiet and still. They were together in that moment and that’s all that mattered.
